Eat Ice Cream Carefully Devoid Of Ecoli Germ A sample of ice cream obtained from a leading Colombo school has revealed that it had contained a ‘Ecoli’ germ injurious to the body. Hence all ice cream outlets in Colombo have been subjected to a thorough scrutiny by the Public Health inspectors unit of the Colombo Municipality. It is reported that several students have suddenly developed various ailments, such as throat infections, stomach aches, purging etc.
The Colombo Municipal Council has warned consumers to be careful when purchasing ice cream with unfamiliar brand names. They are making a thorough scrutiny of the manner in which ice cream manufacturers make ice cream under different brand names.
